Partner with engineering, marketing, and business development teams to provide legal support for issues ranging from nascent to well established products and services, including Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite and Creative Suite products and services, along with a wide range of online services targeted at enterprise customers, resellers, consumers and creatives, and Adobe-wide product and online services teams. Provide guidance with minimal attorney supervision on Internet law, free and open source (FOSS) licensing, marketing issues, intellectual property, privacy and data collection, encryption and export, and other product related issues (such as ecommerce, and regulatory compliance issues). Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements including a variety of inbound and outbound technology license agreements, strategic alliances, sponsorship, marketing and other commercial agreements along with supporting mergers and acquisitions. Develop and conduct legal training for engineering and marketing teams. Develop and implement improvements to internal departmental and corporate processes.

Assisted attorneys with the preparation of correspondence and applications for trademark filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Prepared charts detailing trademark search results received from trademark search companies. Conducted searches with the domain name registration companies for active, inactive and pending domain names as well as modified existing registrations. Researched USPTO regulations with regard to trademark filings and actions. Edited and proofread various practice group marketing materials.
