Managed all aspects of the internal Print Services Department, including offset printing, digital printing, continuous feed printing, pre-press, and bindery divisions. Streamlined operations and work flow to reduce costs to internal clients and provide highest-quality products and services. Aligned hardware and software acquisitions to organization’s needs, utilizing return on investment proposals to demonstrate cost-saving benefits. Created annual operating budgets, including salary and wages, equipment usage, supply costs, and anticipated maintenance costs, along with five-year capital purchase budget. Updated safety programs to include regular inspections, obtain team trainings and certifications, appoint safety personnel, and increase general awareness.• Updated digital color printing equipment and order intake systems to accommodate new company logo and keep production of 50,000 business card orders in-house. Provided $1,500,000 annual savings versus outsource cost to print business cards.• Transitioned critical store signage program, with 120,000,000 signs printed annually, from cut-sheet printing and off-line folding into a single, continuous Web-printing system. This department transformation reduced annual operating expenses by $350,000. • Combined printing divisions to centralize operations, improve services, cross-train operators, and reduce future equipment and salary expenses.• Developed ECO-friendly programs and solutions for corporate headquarters, resulting in $200,000 in savings.
