As an intern with Lincoln Parks and Recreation, I have gained a diversity of experience relating to public planning processes, GIS analysis, landscape design, and research. Through my experience, I have learned how a local government plans for a multitude of projects within conservation, recreation, and infrastructure.

I began working at Target as a cashier during my junior year of high school, where I spent a lot of time working in guest service as well as wherever the store needed me. After a few years, I was able to begin working in the bakery where I learned a lot about organization, signage, and maintenance of the store's bakery.

During Summer of 2018, I participated in UCARE (Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience) with Professor Sarah Karle on her Prairie States Forestry Project. During this project, I learned a lot about the historic archival process, as well as learned a lot about the Midwest's history of planting shelterbelts after the Dust Bowl.
