As a Project Coordinator I provide support to multiple teams and Project Managers. As a customer service representative with the Wisconsin DNR I communicate with the public and internal staff about current regulations. I talk with people in person, on the phone, via email, and online chats. I take the initiative to work exclusively with a customer when they have a complicated issue so that they don’t have to repeatedly explain the situation with someone each time they have a question about it. I have taken all of our safety education classes so that I can better understand the process and be able to explain it to customers. I also process vehicle registrations and license permits. My coworkers and I work as a team to insure that we have enough office supplies, that daily and weekly reports are done, and we follow up on customer issues. I am part of a proof reading team for the department which involves correcting regulations for grammar, sentence structure and clarity prior to being printed.
