As Global Client Director, I oversee Cisco's relationship with one of our largest enterprise accounts and one of the largest financial and investment institutions in the world — Bank of America. My team of Account Executives are located in key Bank of America sites across the globe, and a large cadre of Service Delivery associates are responsible for ensuring our client's network is always available.As the provider and steward of Bank of America's hardware, software, global data, collaboration, and security networks, my team and I must have a deep understanding of our client's business goals, desired outcomes, and strategic opportunities. My job is to understand our client's business now, where they want to go, what they'll need to get there and bring the appropriate Cisco resources to bear.I meet often with executives on both the client and Cisco sides and in functional areas across both organizations. Whether in operations, engineering, architecture, or the lines of business and regardless if we're addressing an opportunity or a problem, I make sure we listen, respond, and always keep our customer's needs and goals front and center.

As a client executive, I led a team of senior Account Executives managing the relationship between Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Cisco. I also directed strategic and tactical efforts to foster brand satisfaction with our client. To ensure our team was focused on driving customer success, I made sure we aligned technology strategy with business strategy, optimized commercial agreements, and viewed all business interactions through the lens of the customer.Later promoted to Global Sales Manager for the Bank of America account, I then led a team of global account managers based in Charlotte, Los Angeles, New York, London, and Singapore. This team generated hundreds of millions in annual product and services bookings. I recruited and developed this talented team, which consistently exceeded our plan goals each year.

I joined Cisco as a Unified Communications sales specialist. In this role, I was tasked with launching Cisco's Unified Communications portfolio and served as a key subject matter expert. I transitioned to a senior global account manager role, where I led the pursuit team responsible for closing Cisco's first — and at the time largest — XaaS contract and a global deployment of 2,000 Cisco TelePresence systems.

3Com was a digital electronics manufacturer best known for its computer networking products and ethernet switching. The company was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2010. During my tenure, I led sales of LAN/WAN networking solutions to strategic accounts that included Duke Energy, SAS Institute, First Union Bank, and the State of North Carolina.

I held a progression of roles with America's fourth-largest mobile network operator, from management intern, product manager, to sales engineering manager. In my last role, as a major account executive, I was responsible for selling Sprint's portfolio of data networking and IP telephony solutions.
