R2E Partners provides expert financial, structural and turn-key development advisory services to the renewable energy industry. R2E's clients include project developers, equipment manufacturers, equipment integrators/EPC, financiers and power purchasers. Energy Capital Investments was a wholely owned subsidiary of Najafi Companies. The company was created to develop, own and operate renewable energy power generation facilities. Energy Capital Investments worked directly with manufacturers, project developers and integrators specializing in solar PV, bio-mass and bio-gas to provide financing for their projects to get them from design to full operation.

National City Energy Capital was an operating group within National City Corporation. As one of the bank leasing groups, National City Energy Capital provided customized leasing solutions for corporations, state entities, universities and school districts to cover expenses associated with energy efficiency projects, with a strong emphasis on the developing solar PV market.

Information Leasing Corporation was a wholly owned subsidiary of Provident Financial Group. ILC provided customized vendor finance programs for technolgy manufacturers and vendors nationwide. In January of 2004 Provident Financial Group was purchased by National City Corporation and Information Leasing Company was renamed National City Commercial Capital Corporation.
