Responsible for managing Dell Services’ Information Security Management System (ISMS), including coordination of Vulnerability Assessment program, Asset Management, Risk Assessment, Continual Improvement, Security Monitoring and Incident Response.- Responsible for achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification at several key Dell Data Centers in the United States and United Kingdom.- Representing Dell Services in all ISO 27001 Certification Audits.- Writing Standards, Policies, Processes, Procedures and other documents necessary to comply with Dell Policy and relevant security standards.- Performing security assessments of new sites or services.- Member of Dell’s Global Security Enterprise Review Board, which performs security reviews of new systems and processes security exception requests.- Responsible for approving firewall change requests for leveraged Dell Services firewalls.- Responding to customer Security Compliance questionnaires.- Assembling and Facilitating Information Technology Security Forum (ITSF), a cross-functional group assembled to identify and manage risk to the Dell Services environment.

Responsible for performing a wide variety of security related tasks, including - Vulnerability and Risk Assessment - Security Reviews of new vendors and services - Creation of Security Baselines for various operating systems, databases and network devices - Deployment and Administration of Database Security Monitoring solution - Administration and monitoring of the Bank's security systems such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Proxy appliances, email gateways and various authentication systems - Vulnerability assessment scans against new systems - Incident Response

Managed Information Security for several local government customers. Responsibilities included: - Ensured that local ACS staff and operations were in compliance with customer and ACS security policies - Developed processes and procedures specific to each customer related to system configuration and administration, access control, application development and network management - Recommended, budgeted and implemented security-related solutions - Managed vulnerability assessment program - Performed risk self assessments and identified areas of improvement to management - Performed regular account and access reviews to help prevent inappropriate access to information - Performed server and network audits on a regular basis to identify improperly configured systems - Participated in the writing and presentation of RFP responses for new and existing customers
