I perform and teach American roots music on banjo, harmonica and guitar. Raised in NW Oregon, I now live in South Seattle and tour internationally with Ben Hunter. I also perform occasionally with a band formed during my years in Portland, Timberbound. This group interprets the sawmill ballads, fishing and logging songs that I grew up hearing, and reflects my passion for folklore and history of the Pacific Northwest. Specialties: Acoustic blues, fiddle tunes, concert performance, storytelling, music education.
