MailMentor is an AI prospecting and followup service for sales people. I built all of the technology and landing page.- Developed the front-end and landing page using Next.js/React and TypeScript. The backend was designed with Docker containers running on AWS Lambda, with a TypeScript API using GraphQL for communication. Managed ML/AI models using Python. All infrastructure was hosted on AWS and orchestrated through Terraform.- Fine-tuned a data extraction model and evaluated its performance, constructing a data collection pipeline utilizing AWS Firehose and S3.- Developed an OCR extraction and embedding pipeline to create sales collateral tailored to specific contacts. This involved running multiple models in Docker containers on ECR, with AWS Step Functions ensuring minimal operational costs by running instances only when needed.- Engineered a system for searching and retrieving contact information, employing multiple vision and language models, headless Chromium (on AWS Lambda), and web search APIs for data collection.- Implemented Amazon SQS for background task communication, PostgreSQL for data storage, and Redis for caching.- Successfully scaled the application to over 4,000 users, serving clients from major companies such as Meta, Slack, and MuleSoft.
