• GPS Navigation across networks of unclaimed logging roads within the Boreal Plains of rural Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.
• Ground-truthing, field analysis and data collection on predetermined plot points at regular intervals along areas of linear disturbance caused by early logging activity.
• Ecological land Classification, Soil Analysis and Tree Regeneration Inventory performed at each interval.
• Regular Identification of animal tracks and animal scat as well as Boreal Plain vegetation including mosses, grasses and lichen.
• The set-up of trail cameras to assess how land is used by fauna in the area followed by sorting collected photos into meaningful categories.
• Data Entry of all information collected in-field, organized logically for interpretation.
