Led a team of Analysts and Consultants managing the Investor Relations and Operations functions of the firms largest Hedge Fund clients, most with assets exceeding $1B.

In this role, I worked closely with three Portfolio Managers of $5m - $25m Portfolios. Responsibilities included coordination and account administration for well over two hundred high net worth clients and families. Oversight of daily client, investment and administrative activities. Preparation of portfolio analysis and presentation materials for client meetings. Daily client contact and oversight of requests such as cash and securities transfers, processing gifts and charitable contributions, and placing trades. Provided cross-selling support to relationship managers by identifying client need and presenting possible revenue opportunities.

Managed a territory of Registered Investment Advisors and institutional investors with assets under management (AUM) ranging from $100 million to $1 billion. Consulted clients and potential clients on the use of alternative and fixed income investment strategies (leverage and inverse, long/short, currency, and various other hedge fund type strategies) in portfolios, across the Southwest region. • Implemented fixed income, currency, and alternative strategies education through webinars, face to face meetings, and conferences• Turned around a last place sales territory to a secure a stable position in the top two • Instrumental in closing a single firm allocation in excess of $40 million – the largest single trade in that channel for 2012• Asset allocation consulting and expertise includes diversification of risk/return streams in efficient and less efficient markets utilizing ETF and mutual fund structures• Collaborated with portfolio managers on the development of new investment strategies based on market conditions and demand

In this role, I was the main contact for approximately 200 high net worth and institutional clients and prospects of three long/short equity Hedge Funds. I was responsible for communications and relationships with all individual and institutional investors. I was the key interface with the fund’s administrator, accountants, auditors, lawyers and other service-providers.I oversaw all investor contributions and withdrawals and managed and updated each funds marketing materials including investor presentations, company website, PowerPoint, and printed information sheets.I organized, planned and and hosted sales and marketing events and dinner presentations for prospective investors and was the main sales contact for our firm.I launched 2 new Hedge Funds, including oversight and redrafting of the Private Placement and Partnership documents, and negotiation of Prime Brokerage arrangements.

At the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, I managed a staff of 3 full time auditors and reported to the Assistant Controller. I was responsible for reconciliation of all Rooms Division, Accounting office, and Food and Beverage postings and transactions.I was responsible for all computerized and manual credit card settlements, and generated daily, weekly and monthly Food and Beverage, Rooms Division and consolidated income and revenue reports.I was also responsible for daily balancing and monthly posting of the hotel’s Income Journal and Entertainment Journal to the General Ledger.
