In my position as Project Manager/Project Coordinator, with the help of the team, I'm charged with multiple responsibilities that span the project phases of a project life cycle (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing). Responding to all clients (and any other) translation requests, generate project estimates, process orders, and manage the translation project from first inception to conclusion. I work directly with clients, maintaining relationships, and I build good rapport with the Language Service Providers I enlist for my projects.PM Duties:• Respond promptly to any and all translation inquiries from current and/or potential clients• Generate time/cost estimates for translation requests (including analyzing the Source content and target market to determine service requirements and project timeline)• Process requests and assign projects to LSPs• Curate reference materials, including Style Guides and CAT tool corpora (glossaries, TM's, etc.) to ensure localization for target market as well as accurate transmission of source content meaning• Monitor each step of the project workflow, making any personnel, timeline, or project detail adjustments necessary to maintain quality and timeliness• Interface with other departments as each step of project workflow is completed (Graphic Design, Quality Control, Vendor Management, Sales, etc.)• Ensure that the finished project meets with the client standards/expectations• Follow up on delivered products and implement revisions when asked by the client• Close orders for invoicing, process payments and budget projects• Assist in any other way possible to ensure that the client (and ideally contractors) have a positive experience with Dynamic Language
