Games Lab At Radford University

As part of the Department of Education grant awarded to Dr. Matt Dunleavy, the objective was to help grades K-12 learn with video games. Worked with local schools to further educational growth in the state of Virginia.Designed and developed iOS educational games for grades K-12 using the Virginia’s Standards of Learning (SOL) guidelines. iOS Games: Sticker Shop and Cell DefenderCreated an analytic system that connected iOS games to track student’s game data. Objective: store and output student’s game data, giving teachers opportunity to view incremental improvements. The system allowed student’s data to be viewed live; giving teachers ability to identify a struggling student and assist them without disengaging the classroom.

Started as a Receiving Associate, and then advanced to the Hardware Department within six months, which allowed me share knowledge and help the customers with their selections. I became a Sales Professional, which is a med-level status as a sales associate. Then promoted to Sales Expert, which is the highest sale associate status allowing the opportunity to sale any item, and train new Sales Associates.
