Profile bio

About Jesse Sythe

I've spent 20+ lovely years in the electricity industry. From aircraft carrier reactor operator on the West coast to transmission operator on the east coast, most of my career has been in operations. My primary focus throughout that time has been on the improvement of operations, processes, and procedures through emergency response exercises. Starting in 2013, I coordinated GridEx II through VI at Eversource’s Connecticut control center, managing inject and MSEL development, developing full-fidelity simulator scenarios, and developing action items following the exercise. Joining E-ISAC in 2022, I now manage the entire GridEx program, including planning the exercise and following up on action items and recommendations. With GridEx VII completed this past November, I'm looking forward to GridEx VIII in 2025, preparing the electric industry for threats we face today, as well as threats on the horizon. I live in Atlanta, GA, and I am always up for a chat about exercises, process improvement, and ways to support Asset Owners and Operators further.

Listed skills include Navy, Nuclear, Instrumentation, Reactor, and 9 others.
