Devops Engineer
Current• Developed shell scripts for day-to-day Linux systems administration tasks.• I am proficient in Bash, groovy, and Python scripting which I have used to automate various tasks.• Experience with version control tools like Bitbucket, Gitlab, and AWS Code Commit.• Experience in Git best practices creating branches, tagging, setting SVN externals, and providing access permissions to the developers over branches. Created organizations and repos and granted required access. I want to make sure a pull request is used before merging.• Create remote repositories to store artifacts in jar or war files for shared libraries (Nexus or J.Frog artifact repositories)• Experience in application compilation and build process manually with maven and extensively worked with Jenkins by installing, configuring, and maintaining it for Continuous integration and End-to-end pipeline automation for all builds and deployments processes.• Install and Configure web servers like Apache and application servers like Tomcat to deploy artifact• Create Infrastructure as a Code with Terraform on different cloud environments like AWS while focusing on the security of state files in an S3 bucket.• Utilized DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube to ensure easy software build packaging, testing, code analysis, and delivery to various target environments.• Used Kubernetes to orchestrate Docker Containers' deployment, scaling, and management.• Ability to create and maintain ECR images and Docker containers in K8s cluster environments.
