I facilitate workflow, improve efficiency and communication, and lead a team of design engineers as a Project Supervisor, which allows me to use my innate problem-solving, pattern-identifying and research skills. In 2016, after a 13-year hiatus and because of my insatiable curiosity, I returned to school to pursue a degree in geology. I firmly believe it is never too late to seek fulfillment, and doing so truly allowed my mind to blossom. I strive to continually learn (filling my "brain library") and continually improve. On pace and with serious plans to pursue a doctorate, I decided to change course in Spring 2020. (Some major world events contributed to that decision, as one might imagine.) Geology, geomorphology in particular, remains a great passion. My experience of over two decades in the restaurant industry sets me apart in the corporate world, having cultivated a strong ability to prioritize tasks, lead with empathy, and maintain a proper sense of urgency regarding productivity.
