Over 30 years of Grocery and Retail leadership with proven success in driving sales, developing my team members to their full potential, supporting and engaging with organizations and schools in my community, and partnering with local North Carolina vendors to establish a local presence in my stores. I have developed over a dozen Assistant Managers into Store Managers during my time with The Fresh Market. I thrive on creating excitement around driving sales, and then recognizing and rewarding my teams when they win. Together, we create an environment where our guests feel appreciated, welcomed, and like part of the family. I was awarded Store Manager of the Year in 2016, and was awarded The Fresh Market Pillar Award in 2012. I introduced several unique and special local North Carolina vendors into The Fresh Market, including Chapel Hill Toffee, Southern Supreme Fruit Cakes, Southern Pines Brewery, and Wrightsville Beach Brewery.I am always open to networking and learning or discussing opportunities in my field.
