As a General Office Worker, I worked to schedule, assist with and close out naturalization ceremonies for persons becoming United States citizens. Ceremony duties included ushering and processing. When processing, I prepared applicants to receive their certificate of naturalization. Ushering involved seating and organizing the applicants so the ceremony could proceed as smoothly as possible. Apart from the ceremonies, I regularly used government digital databases and physically organized files as part of the scheduling and closeout processes. I also handled and copied sensitive documents. Overall, this position enhanced my organizational skills and enabled me to learn the use of specialized computer applications.

Mt. Laurel, Nj

As an insurance producer, I worked from the Mt. Laurel branch office to contact leads in order to set up in-house appointments. I then met with them and assessed their suitability for a Banker's policy.

As a Marketing Intern, I wrote AP-style news stories that tied current events to WND publications. I also assisted with the social media campaigns of previously released WND Books, I also assisted in recording/transcribing calls concerning WND authors. Aside from these activities, I tracked WND book sales on Amazon.com, and did research for other projects.

I worked in the office of Senator Max Baucus of Montana. The Senator was transitioning to his role as U.S Ambassador to China, and needed interns to organize his files. I assisted the archivist brought into the office, and sorted through a high volume of press clips, legislative papers and other documents.

This research intern position, undertaken during my senior year at Washington College, was a component of my participation in the Washington Center program. The program offered coursework, an internship and civic engagement for college credit. At the Jewish Policy Center, I wrote posts for the organization’s blog, and aggregated content for the monthly newsletter. I self-edited my work and checked it for factual accuracy. Additionally, I worked with a donor database, and wrote thank-you correspondence.
