I worked as an engineer intern at Dixie Aerospace. Some of my responsibilities were to reverse engineer parts in our lab to ensure proper sizing of the part and create an auto cad layout of that product to be produced. I used many different machines in the lab such as: surface finish/roughness measuring machines, cylindricity machines, height gauges, feeler gauges and many others. With this information I would create another autoCAD design with proper measurements and tolerances. I would also make changes to already made documents to ensure they are properly cited for a manufactures to produce. Designs were always passed between engineers to double check our work so no mistakes were made whether grammatical or technical. I had the opportunity to be responsible for multiple projects at the same time working with little to no supervision.
