Community Manager
Dublin
At WEBZEN I worked my way across 3 job titles: Junior Community Manager, Community Manager, and Game Publishing Specialist; for simplicity’s sake, I’ll keep the latter 2 here, and the first below. I joined as an intern initially, and through dedication and potential I secured a full-time position. Throughout my 2 years as a CM I worked hard to master content management, quality assurance, localisation, social media management, and a number of other general publishing & marketing skills. At the time of my leaving I was heavily relied on as the foremost specialist on my given project, and as one of the principal English content creators in the company.Key Achievements:- Organised and held a successful tournament on my given project, the first of its kind in the company and an iconic memory for the game’s playerbase.- Researched, designed, and organised extensive game documentation for use by staff in managing the project.- Facilitated user information gathering & eased tough learning curve on my project by refining the online Game Guide and by designing & executing communication schedules for 4 large game expansions.- Peaked 10k+ reach on a Facebook page of 25k likes in pre-expansion hype on a niche game; maintained close analysis and experimentation on social media at all times.
