Jeff has enjoyed a varied career as an arts administrator, artist manager, and flutist. Beginning his career in artist management at Columbia Artist Management and then working as an artist manager with Zemsky Green Artists, Jeff was privileged to work for many of the most acclaimed opera singers performing today guiding them in the development of their internationally renowned careers. Jeff was then invited to serve as the Director of Artistic Operations at Palm Beach Opera casting main stage productions and overseeing the operations of the company’s artistic department and young artists program. His time at Palm Beach Opera led to being asked to join ArtsVision as VP, Client Services, a tech company serving many of the largest performing arts organizations world-wide from Lincoln Center to Opera Australia. While at ArtsVision Jeff designed and implemented operational procedures and strategies resulting in more than tripling the annual revenue and client base as well as working with clients to implement systems to increase efficiencies in all aspects of artistic and production operations. Following his time at ArtsVision, Jeff applied his business development acumen by briefly pivoting to non-profit development supporting important causes before joining Theatre Projects as its Head of Sales & Marketing. At Theatre Projects he sets and executes business development and marketing strategies establishing opportunities to work with arts organizations and with design professionals throughout the arts and culture sectors.Although largely stepping away from performing, Jeff has been privileged with opportunities to perform throughout New York City including at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music Center, and solo recitals as part of the Red Door Concerts Series at Riverdale Presbyterian Church. A personal performance highlight was a performance of the Telemann Concerto in E minor for two flutes with famed flutist Carol Wincenc at the Winter Harbor Music Festival. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Georgia where he studied with Angela Jones-Reus and won the school’s concerto competition, and a Master of Music from Yale University as a student of Ransom Wilson where he was also a fellow at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. He has won competitions sponsored by the Atlanta Flute Club, New York Flute Club, and Tampere Flute Fest (Finland), was a Yamaha Young Performing Artist, and, for fun, earned an Executive MBA from The Quantic School of Business and Technology.
