Renewable Energy is the heart of the cleantech transition, so I built a specialist division with teams covering multiple European territories. I also set up and helped scale a Battery Manufacturing team for Europe.

Returning to LHi, I was tasked with creating and scaling new functions for Piper Maddox across UK/EU.I identified and opened a number of clean technology markets, defined our strategy, and built a team.

After several years of planning and saving I set off on a journey to travel across Asia. We started in Mumbai, made it down the West coast of India, but the trip was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This was a 12 month project to set up a new division, build a team, and to help grow a new office as employee number 2 in Bristol. I built the market, team, division, and conducted a succession handover.

Throughout my time here I recruited for permanent tech roles across the UK's South Coast. I also led a team of other consultants, all focusing on specific and discrete software markets.

Tasked with revitalising a traditionally poorly performing technical market, I ran a 360 technology desk and turned it into one of their top 5 markets.

I ran recruitment functions for a small boutique agency, both improving existing permanent business areas and building a new contract desk. This included recruiting nationally across technical and commercial disciplines.

After leaving university I decided to hone my interest in food by becoming a professional chef. I worked primarily in fine dining, starting out as a kitchen porter, working my way up, and taking responsibility of a three rosette kitchen as sous chef within a year of working in kitchens.

During my final year of university I set up a sustainable and ethical clothing company. I took personal responsibility for all aspects of running the business, from forging relationships with selected suppliers abroad, managing finances, day to day operations, and driving sales back in the UK. This business made a profit and I sold my share at the end of 2011.
