Manages the Design team that provides the Architectural services for Safeway divisions in the US and Canada. John's team provides A&E services that supports Safeway's $1.7 billion a year Cap-Ex program. These services saved Safeway an estimated $2,000,000 a year in A&E fees that would normally be outsourced.Corporate Social Responsibility - John has been a member of Safeway's Diversity Leadership Board since 2008. The DLB provides the annual planning and funding for all Diversity projects for its 1400 Safeway employees located on the NSC campus. In 2009 the NSC DLB raised over $40,000 for charitable groups in Phoenix thru on campus events and fundraisers. John also volunteers his time as the managing editor of the Kaleidoscope newsletter. The Kaleidoscope is a monthly campus wide newsletter that focus' on celebrating diversity in the work place.John is also the un-official campus photographer and graphic artist for the NSC. co-managed the largest `in-house' A&E firm in the nation providing product development and consultation services to the 4 regionalDivisions that generated $2.5 billion in annual revenue; 40% of the Pulte / Del Webb corporate revenue nationwide.

Managed the in-house CAD department; consisting of 3 CAD operators, 1 assistant and 2 in-house consultant. Architectural Manager for a division that constructed over 1400 homes in Tucson in 2004. Established first in-house CAD team that helped reduce expenditures to out-source consultants by 38% the first year.

Joined the family firm in 1991 to help establish a Computer Added Drafting department. CAD specialist responsible for setting up and finalizing the construction documents based on the schematicdrawings done by the design team.
