- Design and implement new servers when needed by the IS team or other groups for projects/customers;- Monitor servers through WhatsUpGold system. Previously only monitoring UP/DOWN activity, added functionality to monitor performance through SNMP. Alerting IT when servers CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization reached critical levels- Managing Hyper-V infrastructure. Including deploying new hosts running Windows 2012 Core, deploying guests, managing Hyper-V hosts through Virtual Machine Manager, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager- Responsible for external certificate management through Entrust. This included renewing, revoking, and creating certificates upon request- Manage SOPHOS mail appliance. This includes configuration of accepted domains, spam monitoring, whitelisting, and Active Directory synchronization;- Led Windows group in integration of acquired company. Onboarding employees onto Active Directory, Exchange, and Lync. Automated onboarding process through Powershell; creating AD, Exchange , and Lync accounts via a supplied employee list. Identifying infrastructure needs, and designing resources to be built and deployed in new office;- Manage Symantec NetBackup infrastructure. Create policies, retention times, and disaster recovery models;- Manage Microsoft Data Protection Manager to backup Microsoft products such as, Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint; Hyper-V;- Organize planned outages. Including server upgrades and patches, hardware replacement, software upgrades. Coordinate with business to minimize impact to end users;- Document procedures implemented by Infrastructure Services group.- Manage SCCM to deploy software packages to groups and individuals based on business necessities. Currently planning for PXE image rollout for desktop/laptop rebuild and deployment;- Maintain Customer Hosting environment. This includes patching, backups, server builds (both physical and virtual);
