With over 20 years of work experience in the energy sector, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to promote energy security, resilience, and sustainability for the benefit of the environment and the community. As a Manager Energy Security Policy and Preparedness at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), I oversee the development and implementation of policies and strategies to ensure the reliability and security of energy supply in Victoria. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I enjoy working with a team of dedicated and talented professionals who share the same vision and mission as DEECA.In my current role, I manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives that aim to enhance the energy system's preparedness and response to emergencies, contingencies, and disruptions. I also engage with various stakeholders, including AEMO, regulators, industry participants, and other government agencies, to identify and address the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector. Some of the skills that I apply and develop in my role are stakeholder management, executive management, policy analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
