*Carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.*Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.*Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting lesson objectives.*Performs other related duties as directed by principal

*Adjust coaching techniques based on the strengths and weaknesses of athletes.*File scouting reports that detail player assessments, provide recommendations on athlete recruitment, and identify locations and individuals to be targeted for future recruitment efforts.*Instruct individuals or groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles such as specific ways of moving the body, hands, and/or feet in order to achieve desired results.*Evaluate athletes' skills, and review performance records, in order to determine their fitness and potential in a particular area of athletics.

*Supervise student athletes to promote effective student learning through participation in athletic activities.*Assists the Head Coach in preparing athletes both physically and mentally to participate with confidence and self-assurance in athletic contests; emphasizes safety precautions; provides opportunities for each participant to achieve success. *Assist Head Coach in developing practice and game strategies.*Follows district procedures for handling injuries.

*Coordinate activities through the Assistant Football Coach.*Provide instruction to football athletes on the fundamentals, details and strategies of football as assigned by the Assistant Coach.*Assist Assistant Coach in developing practice strategies.*Perform other job related duties as assigned.
