Juan Gallardo is a creative in the Art Direction side, whose talents, expertise and experience extend across all facets of corporate communications, from print, to film, to animation and the Web.At Ogilvy & Mather in New York, his many campaigns for IBM have resulted in that agency's becoming, according to Advertising Age International, "the world's biggest winners of new media awards for creative work". Some of those awards include, the Grand Clio, Cannes Cyber Lion Grand Prix, Art Directors Club, The One Show.As a Creative Director at Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer RSCG, he led a team in the creation of in-store promotional graphics, print and outdoor advertising for Dunkin Donuts. He also worked for a diverse range of clients, Volvo, MCI, United Healthcare, International Paper, Drambuie, and Courvoiser.As a freelancer, Juan's projects include music videos for several hip-hop groups, feature film brochures for Miramax Films, Identity brochures and programs for Gina Gibney Dance, and multiple projects for Byron Preiss Publications, CD packaging, book interiors and brochures.Early in his career, Juan specialized briefly in fashion-related work. He held a Designer position at Bloomingdale's in-house ad agency, then as an Art Director in Vogue Magazine, picking up numerous awards along the way. At Arnell-Bickford Associates, he collaborated in creating the look and feel of campaigns that made Donna Karan and DKNY household names.Juan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design.
