About Juanita Jones
I'm a virtuous business woman, wife, mother, author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and an OVERCOMER. I have over 30 yrs of Business, Sales & Marketing experience from all spectrums of Corporate America.In 2016, I took a leap of faith and left Corporate to pursue my own dreams fulltime – Edible Blessings, LLC - a mobile delivery bakery ‘where desserts not only look good, but taste as good as they look’. I currently operate the ONLY mobile bakery that will deliver door to door within the area, and have recently added 2 custom designed bakery vending machines and a mobile bakery trailer to further scale the business. My company prides itself in operating in excellence, and has grown a reputation known for offering exceptional service from start to finish. I believe that 100% is average & expected, but 150% is exceptional. In 2015, I became a self published author and wrote my debut book, ‘The Frustrated Dreamer: When your Dreams are Bigger than your Now’, followed by my sophomore work in 2017 with ‘A-Weighted: A Journey between the Weight & the Wait’. I lend my talents by regularly volunteering as a writer/proofer/editor and business trainer for various local organizations, as well as a pro bono baker for the non-profit organization Icing Smiles, which provides custom cakes for families with a critically ill child. My favorite act of service is personally feeding the homeless on a monthly basis. Since 2019, my husband & I have also started several new ventures: - Recon Rentals (A car rental fleet partnered with TURO)- Recon Technical Services ( mobile computer repair services)- My Pink Closet (an online boutique & essentials store)- EB Vending (an extension of Edible Blessings)-TFD Business Mentoring & Consulting I am an honor graduate of Park University with a B.S. in both Business Management & B.S. in Human Resources. My work style is MYERS- BRIGGS type 'ENFJ'.While all of the above has been rewarding and no easy feat, I am at a place both professionally and personally where it is time to progress in a new direction. Seasons change in both weather and in life. I'm am actively in pursuit of a fresh, exciting, and challenging journey, and open to anything that would fit this goal. What do I do for Fun? I thoroughly enjoy traveling, reading, all things arts and crafts, thrifting, event planning, and spending time with my family. Words I live by - Live your life to the absolute fullest! Don't be afraid to laugh, smile, & eat the cake. Every human deserves Grace. It's simply not as "deep" as it appears.
