Responsible for the overall serviceability of Luminex instruments, to include advanced global technical support, training, and communications to customers, technical field service engineer staff and the Depot. Continued focus on product and service improvements and innovative solutions. Provide technical leadership and sales support for major customer organizations in servicing, maintaining, and operating Luminex instruments. Lead the development and maintenance of service training documentations, manuals, bulletins and other communication materials. Contribute to key decisions points that drive product service offerings, service revenue, and value added support that generates growth. Analyzes data reports and service documentation to identify technical trends and proactively identifies areas of improvements for device services. Creates and executes improvement plans to ensure customers and partners receive the highest quality of technical support. Example of improvement areas may be in service cost savings, service time reduction, improved service inventory management/delivery, new business/service deliverable initiatives.

As a United States Navy Special Programs Coordinator I am often the first point of contact for people interested in joining the Navy for programs such as; Warrior Challenge Program, Nuclear Power Program, as well as the NROTC Scholarship Program.. I offered encouragement, while facilitating enrollment for service. I am knowledgeable and experienced in military policy and procedures, and have served as a member of the United States Navy for several years prior to receiving an assignment to work in this capacity. I am responsible for implementing the initial stages of qualification and enlistment of a new recruit, as well as an adviser and motivator. I assist an applicant throughout the entire enrollment process, as well as offering support in preparation for boot camp. I am an operator and electronics technician responsible for keeping sonar systems and equipment in good operating condition on surface ships such as frigates, minesweepers, destroyers, cruisers or at remote locations throughout the world. I am responsible for underwater surveillance, and aid in safe navigation and search and rescue operations. I use sonar systems to detect, analyze and locate targets of interest. Duties I perform include, but are not limited to: •Operate sonar sensors for detection and classification of contacts; •Operate underwater fire control systems; •Identify sounds produced by surface ships, torpedoes, submarines, evasion devices, sonar transmissions, marine life and natural phenomena; •Analyze, interpret and report all acoustic data; •Identify the characteristics, functions and effects of controlled jamming and evasive devices on sonar operations; •Prepare and interpret sonar messages; •Maintain charts and plots; •Operate tape recorders, bathythermographs and fathometers, computer localization subsystems and data entry terminals; •Recognize major equipment malfunctions during sensor operations; •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sonar equipment and underwater fire control systems including use of general purpose test equipment; •Identify electronic components on schematics and tracing major signal flow; •Use hand tools and portable power tools; •Operate underwater communications equipment.
