Profile bio

About Judith Evans

I love telling stories – especially ones that provide people with tips and resources to help improve their lives.I have worked with several U.S. military agencies to highlight their efforts to help service members and veterans diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries and the families and friends who support them. I have led teams in developing content for podcasts, email subscriber lists, internal newsletters, social media and website articles on the latest clinical recommendations and educational resources available to military health care providers, commanders, and service members with concussion. I also worked with the lead military agency, which conducts public health surveillance on conditions and diseases that are relevant to the military. I won a public relations award for a corporate video that I produced, and successfully placed its disease surveillance study in a New York Times story. When I was kid, I always wanted to be a reporter. Every morning, I sat on my dad’s lap where we read the newspaper. My dad and mom quizzed me and my three siblings about current events and our thoughts. I knew that I wanted to write the stories that fueled those discussions.I got my first job covering real estate and business news as a cub reporter for a mid-sized paper in upstate New York. Why real estate? It wasn't so surprising I was familiar with property sales since my parents owned a title and settlement company in my hometown. I went on to cover real estate and business news at two major papers in New York City and Washington, D.C. My final assignment was a dream fulfilled when I covered high school and college sports. As the newspaper industry changed, I recognized there were other jobs that would allow me to continue telling stories in different ways. So I transitioned to the public relations industry. What would better than to take my skills as a storyteller and help businesses tell their audiences about their work?Bottom line: I want to keep telling compelling stories in the most innovative formats. I want to help agencies to expand their reach. Build trust with their clients. Meet their audience where they digest information. I have a proven track record to do just that.
