Bem-vindo!I originally trained as an architect and have spent the last 20 years immersed in various fields related to sustainable urban planning, architecture, and construction, with a particular emphasis on communication, editing, and event organization.In my current role at RILEM, an international non-profit organization dedicated to fostering scientific collaboration in the realms of construction and sustainable development, I am actively engaged in all aspects of the association's activities. My responsibilities encompass the management of the secretariat and its staff, overseeing all administrative, financial, and membership affairs. I am also in charge of orchestrating the planning and coordination of RILEM Annual Weeks and Conventions, along with meetings of the RILEM Bureau and Development Advisory Committee, the General Council, RILEM Awards, and international conferences.Over the course of a decade at CIMbéton, my primary focus was event organization. I initiated the creation of two new architectural competitions and award ceremonies, supported by the Ministry of Culture. These competitions garnered tremendous success, attracting over a hundred entries annually. Additionally, I played a central role in planning conferences attended by experts within the fields of architecture and construction. Furthermore, I was responsible for organizing 80 courses per year for engineering and architecture students. As the editorial director of CIMbéton's architecture review magazine, I oversaw the publication of 16,000 copies three times a year.My expertise in event management, organization, and communication is evident in my work history, where I assumed responsibility for content, quality, outcomes, scheduling, and budgeting across all these endeavors. My role also encompassed comprehensive communication management, including online channels, social media platforms, and press relations. To execute these multifaceted tasks, I selected and managed approximately fifteen external service providers.Having lived, studied, and worked in diverse countries, I have honed my ability to communicate proficiently in multiple languages: French, English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish. This cross-cultural experience has deepened my understanding and passion for multicultural environments. My innate ability to multitask, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership skills have consistently positioned me as an effective team player and an independent achiever in various professional settings.

Review of existing partnerships’ MOU, development of new partnerships, follow up. • Publication management. Revision of the editorial and graphic design of the two annual reports. Supervision and follow-up of "RILEM History Book" editing and publication.• Collaboration in social media & website updates.• RILEM strategy. Support to presidents on strategic orientations.MANAGEMENT OF THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT• Management of the team of employees. • Reorganization and classification of all data stored on the server.• Administrative & HR management. Recruitments, contracts, salaries. Interface with all service providers (accountant, lawyer, IT services).• Invoicing of membership fees. Supervision for updating the contacts database. Revision of members’ invoicing process and development of new digital invoicing tools, and new online services for members.• Financial and accounting management. Management of an annual budget of € 650k. Preparation of all required documents for the accountant.
