I love it when a client begins to understand the connection between their hoarded and muddled possessions and how they feel, both physically and emotionally. This "aha" moment is what inspires me to do my work. I especially like working for anyone who works from home. Often the lines between work and family life can become blurred as office content spreads out of its dedicated space and into other rooms. Not surprisingly this can cause family tensions as well as cranking up stress levels and impacting efficiency. I help my clients find a balance to suit everyone in the household which often also involves aspects of home decluttering. The results are so much more than increased efficiency, there is room to relax, and the business related items have a dedicated space that works.Along the way I advise on storage and basic systems that are easy to use and suit the style of each individual client. My aim is that this process gives them the tools for improved focus, less time in the office and less time hunting for vital information that has gone missing.Most entrepreneurs are creative people who hate paperwork, which they view as a necessary evil. My aim is to remove this fear by 'taming' the paperwork and making it work for my client. Keeping track of client and supplier information, decluttering and archiving records as appropriate are all part of the process.
