My approach to any job can be summed up in two words: Customer Service. Nothing mars even the best of reputations as quickly as poor service. Years ago, my customers were professional photographers - knowledgeable and demanding. It was easy to think of them as unreasonable, until you put yourself in their place and realized their livelihood depended on the quality of the work you provided. Later, my customers were pet owners - not so knowledgeable, but even more demanding. They could be seen as unreasonable, until you thought about the pet whose life was in your hands on the surgery table, and the owner's feelings of worry and helplessness. Now, my customers are the patients, doctors, nurses and pharmacy personnel of a hospital. The customers have changed, but nothing else has. They are very knowledgeable people and can be very demanding, but they are my customers. I do my very best every day to take care of them as I hope they would do for me. Customer service takes dedication, an excellent work ethic, honesty, understanding, compassion and a genuine desire to help people. I bring 44 years of that desire to the hospital.
