-Played a leading administrative role in developing, managing and maintaining quality assurance processes for education programs in family medicine, which resulted in training skilled family physicians and ultimately improving primary care in Canada.-Successfully managed the work of the Accreditation Committee (25 members and observers) by organizing bi-annual meetings, creating agendas, writing detailed minutes and advancing all aspects of their work. -Planned, organized and participated in all accreditation visits to the 17 Faculties/Schools of Medicine across Canada (major events involving hundreds of participants) ensuring programs met the required standards.-Managed the follow-up on accreditation work including report writing in English and French and follow-up communication with Universities enabling family medicine programs to complete their cycle of quality improvement. -Created, maintained and updated all documents, policies, protocols and systems pertaining to the proper management of accreditation resulting in quality improvement of internal processes and practices.

Developed and implemented a newly designed alternative certification program (the Alternative Route to Certification) offered to Canadian family physicians resulting in certification (CCFP) for all participating family physicians who successfully completed the education program.

Obtained insurance coverage for patients in need of specific drugs. Liaised between physicians, patients, drug companies and health insurance, advocating for patients and negotiating with insurance companies to determine what they would be willing to cover, helping patients to obtain drugs that would otherwise be ineligible for reimbursement

Created and managed a successful decorating boutique, tea room, and B&B. Visited trade shows/wholesalers to purchase merchandise and negotiated costs resulting in the financial success of the boutique and tea room. Managed marketing and advertising on the internet.

Translated decorating and gardening articles for the bi-monthly magazine VOTRE MAISON – RUSTICA ÉDITIONS - PARIS
