When it comes to making the most of a not-for-profit budget I am creative, crafty, and clever at unearthing hidden resources — not just financial ones but also staff time, volunteers, office supplies, and other freebies. Did you know many software services offer discounts or free versions for Not-for-profit organizations? I thrive on the energy and human-ness of the not-for-profit sector. In my day job, I love connecting with our members through committee work and in-person events. As a mom, I volunteer my time to coach my kids’ hockey teams.
