I joined Valley View Casino & Hotel family in 2001 as a benefits administrator and due to my previous experience at HP and the Casino I was offered opportunities to grow in my role. I worked as Valley View Casino & Hotel’s employee service manager and human resources director before I was promoted to vice president of human resources in 2007. I understand the importance of healthy work environments, effective cultures, team member resources and relationships. I've served as a board member on the San Pasqual Casino Development Group, Inc. since 2004 and National Native American Human Resources Association (NNAHRA) since 2012 and was elected as President in 2015. I've been credited as a key contributor in making Valley View Casino & Hotel a wonderful place to work by creating a unique and friendly culture, primarily because of my compassion and dedication to all team members at the casino. A direct result of my work is represented by the low turnover rates Valley View Casino & Hotel have experienced since implementing a very rewarding benefits package for our team members.
