About Judith Perez

As an accomplished Communications and Knowledge Management analyst, I offer over a decade of expertise gained from diverse roles in the private sector and international organizations. My academic background in the Latin American region complements my professional knowledge and passion for development communications, specifically with experience in labor markets, skills, education, food security, and women empowerment. My unique skill set allows me to provide exceptional support and guidance in communication and engagement strategies. In 2020, I finished my master's degree at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. My master's thesis revolves around the impact of mental and socioemotional skills in the labor market. Specifically, I estimated the effect of mental and socioemotional skills on the earnings of women and men in Mexico. My capstone project, in partnership with the Mexican multinational company CEMEX, consisted of a Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methodology to integrate gender equality indicators into rural development projects. The M&E was designed following the Global Indicator Framework for the Sustainable Development Goals.
