I am currently responsible for Radiocentre's training programme which aims to develop advertiser and agency understanding of where radio fits into today's digital landscape and persuade them to "see radio differently". With many years spent working in the fields of research and marketing, I have a passion for making research and data interesting and accessible to everyone without too much jargon or horrible charts. My "special projects" hat involves working with advertisers and regulators to find ways of making those ts&cs at the end of radio ads more effective and less onerous. If you have ever heard a radio ad with a financial offer which ends with 20 seconds of jargon (ts and cs) you will know exactly what I mean. Who listens to those?... I rest my case!Previously worked as Head of Effectiveness Insight for Radicentre where I devoted the majority of my time to working with major national advertisers and their agencies on specialist research projects to help develop their understanding of radio's potential for their businesses.Prior to joining Radiocentre I worked for United Distillers (part of the Diageo Group) where I held a variety of roles ranging from Media Manager though to that of Head of Marketing Analysis.Specialties: Research and market analysis background with experience of a range of different types of quant research and analysis. Also strong coaching skills which come into their own when running radio workshops. Have also become an expert on sources of advertising regulation as well as research and insight into how to make ts and cs work better for both consumers and businesses.
