• As IT Application Owner am responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and support of the County of San Diego’s highly available ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 on Windows Server 2016, as well as related web mapping applications and ETL jobs. Additionally responsible for related web and application servers. • Manage monthly Windows patching of the ArcGIS Enterprise production environment. • Manage monthly security vulnerabilities reported for the ArcGIS server environment. • Provide Python development expertise to implement customer change requests for Python applications and resolve runtime errors. • Work with solutions architect and stakeholders to develop a migration plan of the County’s complete GIS to Amazon Web Services. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve user support requests.

• Maintained highly available architectures in Amazon Web Services (AWS), hosting ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 and 10.9.1 on both Ubuntu Server 20.04 and Windows Server 2019. • Planned and implemented 10.8.1 to 10.9.1 migration on both Windows Server and Ubuntu Server. • Built and supported network, server, and storage infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS). • Managed users, groups, roles, and policies in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity and Access Management (IAM) to secure client infrastructure. • Introduced enterprise best practices for systems management, including 24/7 server monitoring and notification using Zabbix and monthly server performance reporting. • Created maintenance window schedules and a dedicated development environment. • Wrote script tools in Python 3 using the ArcGIS REST API and Python API for ArcGIS to support server performance reporting and data processing. • Created custom toolboxes and geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS Pro using Python 3. • Wrote extensive process documentation for topics including ArcGIS Enterprise version migration, creating NFS shares, and resizing EBS volumes on AWS.
