About Judy Anderson

I am a ceramic artist with over 20 years in the business. I create functional wares such as serving bowls, teapots, coffee/tea cups, sushi platters, etc.My main focus is on Custom Cremation Urns. By this, I mean that, ideally, I work with an individual to plan his/her own urn. This allows for the person to truly be represented, to be remembered the way they want to be remembered. One can include facets of their interests such as favorite hobbies or passions, favorite flowers, birds or animals.I also make custom urns and sculptures for Companion Animals.I've been teaching Beginning Ceramics since 2008 and fired an updraft gas kiln from 2007-2012.Specialties: Cremation Urns for people or pets, small-scale memorial pet sculptures.

I was part of the firing staff when Fired Up Studios ran a 40ft3 gas-fired updraft kiln.
