I've worked in Early Childhood for fifty years. Started a very successful little school for little kids with sixty dollars in my pocket - am now passing it down to my daughter. Wrote a "wired" column for Scripps Howard Newswire for fifteen years on the subject of very young children. I've written children's plays, children's stories and some books for adults. I've reinvented the childcare world in my area and have guest lectured at several local universities. As an older adult, I think my job is to help young adults learn about young children and their very little worlds. I'll probably work till I die. On a personal note, I've been married fifty-two years. I have four very very successful children and nine of the brightest most wonderful grandchildren. Life is good.
