I have 30 years of experience in the world of food and nutrition, the last 12 being focused on the education and management of diabetes. My management background in both food service and clinical nutrition has enabled me to focus these skills in the area of diabetes education and management. I am dedicated to prevention and outreach and enjoy collaborating with community partners on projects that reach populations at high risk who are currently underserved. My most recent outreach experiences have been with the Arabic and Brazilian communities, both delightful experiences well received by the participants. I generally work in the South Shore area around Quincy, but I live and also practice on Cape Cod where I look forward to new opportunities to continue my passion for prevention and outreach.
