I am an energetic and eager teacher with a MSc (Wine Biotechnology) degree. I have a passion for teaching, learning and people. I strongly believe in being well-balanced, and embrace opportunities that will develop my character and enhance skills. I have served in numerous leadership positions, at Stellenbosch University and other organisations, and there I learnt event organising, administration and secretarial skills. I have learnt how to work with people of different groups and backgrounds, especially on how to encourage others and help their skills development. I am determined and an eager, willing and fast learner. I am a good communicator and a pro-active worker. I have a broad range of interests and enjoy being involved in different projects. Friends are important to me and although I like to relax with them, I am a very hard working person, and never do anything by half measures. I enjoy meeting and engaging with different people and spending as much time as possible in the outdoors, running or hiking in the mountains.
