As Charter Operations Supervisor my responsibility includes the following; the planning and operation of multiple full-ship charter cruise events. I sustained office presence between charter cruises in addition to remote operational work while onboard charter cruise and ‘presail’ events. I led up to thirty Tour Managers while onboard the charter cruises to successfully fulfill the functions of guest hospitality, event management, and onboard sales. I directly interfaced with charter clients, cruise line personnel, and cruise guests. Other functions included cruise ship inspection, development of onboard event programming, consulting for onboard work plans, managing onboard functions, resolving and deescalating guest problems, interviewing and recruiting prospective team members, and departmental financial reporting.
