Primary role is the lead manager of a high-volume TJ Maxx and HomeGoods Combination store in Miamisburg, Ohio. Due to high performance, currently hold several other roles in the company.• Regional HR Committee (Jun 2021- present). Responsible for creating content and editing monthly HR newsletter sent to 132 stores. Designed and implemented multiple initiatives to improve culture, hiring, and retention. • District Expert for the TJ Maxx credit card (Feb 2018 - present). Responsible for credit as a customer loyalty driver in 12 stores. Plan and implement training sessions to improve credit performance in other locations. • Remote Manager of 2nd store in Bowling Green, OH (Oct 2021 - present).• Regional “think tank” member (Jan 2017 - Dec 2019). Top 10% of talent working together to improve talent mobility. After initial success, team also was used to develop a “Shrink Highway” program to prevent losses caused by theft or staff error. Subsequently helped generate the content of the annual Store Leadership Conference for 132 store managers in the Region, including strategies for impactful development, mentoring and effective store planning. Sub-group of this think tank wrote an extensive guidebook for successfully establishing Operations in new stores. • Established a new store in Kettering, Ohio (Jul 2016 – Feb 2020). Orchestrated a mass hire of 80 associates, including hiring, onboarding paperwork, and training. Oversaw staffing, construction, fixturing, and merchandising.

Responsible for Human Resources and Operations, including recruiting, I-9s, onboarding, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, corrective action, and associate motivation. • Selected as an “Emerging Leader” (Mar 2015 – Dec 2016) and challenged to design a program to strengthen operational metrics. Proposed that hundreds of pages of Operational policy could be condensed into a 4-page accessible training pamphlet, outlining the behaviors most predictive of Operational success. Chosen, from 5 proposals, for Regional rollout. Supported the roll-out to 132 stores with quarterly supplemental updates for the first year after enactment. • Relocated a store from Cincinnati, OH, to Newport, KY (Mar 2014- Jul 2016), simultaneously managing Human Resources for two staffs, two schedules, and two sets of state employment laws.• Chosen as District Loss Prevention Expert (Feb 2014 – Jul 2016). Created guidelines for preventing loss through customer service and audited other stores in District for external risk factors.• Selected as District Operations Expert (Feb 2012- Feb 2014). Trained new operations managers, audited 12 stores in district for compliance with state law, federal law, and company policy. • Led district walkthrough of “Model Store” for holiday setup (Dec 2013). Created merchandising set up and guided 13 store managers through the expectations. • Remodeled store in West Chester, Ohio, attaining a 16% sales increase and 29% profitability.• Conducted mass hires to support the Springdale, OH relocation, the Kenwood, OH relocation, and the new store opening in Oxford, OH. Responsible for interviewing and hiring 80 associates in 3 days.
