Groundswell Fund is a philanthropic organization funding Women of Color organizations in the Reproductive Justice space. My responsibility for the c3 and c4 were: Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT and Operations. Groundswell Fund is a national virtual organization using cloud based solutions for Finance, Accounting, HR, and IT.

Was responsible for Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT and Human Resources. Managed a staff of 3, reported to the ED and extensive budgeting,forecasting, implementing national IT firm for the 5 Taproot foundation locations; NY, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles from the San Francisco office. Excellent CPA audit.

I was responsible for Finance,Accounting, Operations, IT and Human Resources. I implemented business policies, accounting controls, HR policies that shape an effective and efficient working environment. I developed a robust budgeting and forecasting process, prepared and presented financial reports at quarterly board meetings, managed the audit and finance committees, and managed 10 consecutive years CPA audits ( 4 A-133) resulting in "unqualified" opinions and excellent management letters.

As the Controller Consultant I set up Quick Books, all accounting processes, and the process between Financial Services and Accounting. Preformed all the accounting functions; audits, Federal and local contracts management, temporary restricted grants, banking relationship, reconciliation schedules and payroll. Managed the Office Manager. Promoted to full-time as Director of Finance and Operations June 2006.

I provided services to a wide range of businesses which were in start-up and growth stages in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. I evaluated accounting, finance and business practices.
