The current post I hold is Vice Principal at DN Colleges Group for Education Programmes for Young People. My main aim is to ensure that all students receive an outstanding learning experience, regardless of age and background whilst ensuring value for money curriculum is provided.I am passionate about raising the profile of Vocational Education by ensuring that students are either " work ready" or prepared for University when they leave the college. I also believe in the importance of parity of esteem between the qualification and skills development. My focus is on Teaching,Learning and Assessment to ensure that each student maximises their individual aspirations and potential on what ever course that they are studying.My key philosophy to management is to use a coaching style whenever possible to ensure that a sustainable high performing culture is developed.My mantra is " Aggregation of marginal gains leads to success" as said by David Brailsford British Cycling Coach at the Beijing Olympics.
