I am a passionate about all aspects of mental health, in particular mental health law, social justice, equality, and safeguarding people’s rights. I firmly believe in people´s potential and their ability to fulfil it. Our passion should be the foundation for our giving. Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. To deny people their human rights is to challenge there very humanity. I bring courage, authenticity and empowerment to my practice. I have 30 years’ experience of working with some of societies most disenfranchised people and my driving force has always been the same: My innate desire to help and support people to reach their full protentional independent from statutory services. I am a registered highly skilled Independent Mental Health Social Worker. I have over 30 years’ experience working in public sector organisations working with adults, older adults, and children’s both in social care and community mental health. I am a proud professional with lived experience. I am also a practicing Approved Mental Health Professional and Specialist Member of the First-tier Tribunal (HESC) Mental Health.
