A partner and principal at Walker Architects, and practice lead for interior design, I'm dedicated to evidence-based and sustainable design that puts people first. With experience ranging from large-scale regional hospitals to major universities and mixed-use urban apartment buildings, my designs reflect my belief that the built environment can heal and nurture through beauty, comfort, and simplicity, and that good design can significantly improve lives.My approach to design and visioning begins with listening and understanding different perspectives. I've designed interiors for a diverse range of projects and enjoy getting to know the needs of the people I'm designing for. My international experience as Design Director for Vihara Collective in Yangon, Myanmar, allowed me to focus on sustainable architecture, agriculture, and hospitality as a humanitarian platform in Southeast Asia.At our firm, we embrace an agile design approach, putting people first and meeting their evolving needs. I strive to bring a deeper level of consideration for interior design, pushing our designs to create healthy, positive environments for a wide variety of user groups. My goal is to ensure that our spaces are adaptable, resource-efficient, and ultimately enhance the well-being of those who use them.
