Started as a student assistant assigned to the circulation desk on 08/05. Student assistant duties included check-in and check-out procedure for patrons in the NOTIS and then ALEPH systems as well as assisting patron with the distribution and receiving of library items, programs, and to facilitate library procedure. Promoted to student assistant supervisor in the stacks department on 04/06. Student assistant supervisor duties included the management of 6 to 8 student assistants, recording, management, and processing of stacks materials in the ALEPH system. As well as covering the management of the circulation desk durning breaks and meetings. Hired on as senior library technical assistant on 10/06. Senior LTA duties included but were not limited to the management of the circulation desk including hiring, management, training, and evaluations of 10 student assistants. Management of the processing and distribution of reserve, serial, and media materials. Collecting, recording, and management of library fines. Creating, editing, and deleting new patron accounts in ALEPH. Responsible for the processing and notification of library material holds and patron overdue notices.
